I'm giving Oxygen a go instead because I heard it has amazing battery life. So far so good. By now my phone would be on 18% with GV, it has been an average day with regards to usage so I'm pretty sure of that. Atm I have 55% battery remaining.

53 minutes of spotify
40 mins web browsing (3G)
30 mins web/market/etc browsing (WiFi)

Well here is my redux.

47%

14 Hours, 6 minutes, 17 seconds battery

1:47 screen on
Most of that time, xda, phandroid app
Short phone call
9 sms
read / sent 58 emails.

Your stats must be slightly off matt.

76 minutes screen on, but 80 minutes of browsing and games + 20 texts. Did you round up? ;)

It was a guestimate :P Basically all of that screen time was browsing/playing games/texting/one call.

And on a day when it has been sat in my pocket..

5 hours 41 mins since last charge.
Display on 5 mins 10 secs.

93% remaining.
 
Yeah I know mate.

Mines hard to estimate now because I had to test SD card which reset my screen on time.

I am on 86%, I guess 45 Minutes screen on. Time on battery (with minor charge, probably not more than 1%) unplugged at 100% 4.5 hours ago

That's not bad, better than I was getting with GV.

Now:

11h 57m 9s on battery
43m 12s on display -- the majority of this was web browsing over 3G, but also sending about 5 texts
29m 15s of Spotify
3m 28s voice calls

70% remaining.

This is with 2G networks only (other than when I'm browsing) and auto-sync switched off.
 
I'm on 63% now. 10 hours 40

Similar usage as before. Display says 50 mins so add the 45 I estimate earlier make 1:35

HSDPA all day, sync all day, emails, texts. Very impressed

Usually 50% by now.

I put the HTC sense 2.3 drivers and RIL on. Think this has helped

I've decided I want functionality so have gone back to LeeDroid Ginger again hehe
The battery doesn't seem all that bad apart form some random awake time with screen off and the creeping memory thing.
Maybe after another fresh wipe and flash it'll be ok....
Maybe...
Still I like features to work :)
 
Quick questions,
Still running 1.8. and by reading the feedback, I should hold out for the 2.1, correct, or nope
Also, is upgrading OTA to 2.0 (via villain setup on the device) reasonable enough, or would it be better to do it like the we I installed it... all via the computer and whatnot?

2.1 will possibly be out at the weekend. Wait if you like ;)

Also either way of installation is fine. I use PC because I strip the roms.
 
I have noticed something after installing 1.9 - 2.0 GV.
When I call someone the rear speaker is turning on for about 1 sec and then it turning off (because the sound is louder for 1 sec). Does anyone noticed such things???
 
Ok apparantly Mine vibration isn't in the market anymore.

Try "smart vibrator"

A crappy app name if I ever saw one :D
