Help Going back to Android 2.2

if you are rooted then you can just flash a froyo rom. if you are not rooted, then you unfortunately cant downgrade your phone. have you accepted the maintenacnce ota. it should be software version 4.24.651.1.

Yes I have. Words cannot describe how upset I am. The Bluetooth no longer pairs my contacts with my car. It did with 2.2 ever since 2.3 it synced old contacts but nothin new. I thought something was wrong. So I did a factory reset.. And now no contacts sync. I went from the Epic to the Evo so that I could have that functionality. Now Im stuck..

when you did the reset did you sign back into goggle? it should sync back once you so.

Yes I did.. I have come to the conclusion that Gingerbread does something to kill the Bluetooth so that it doesnt work with my car. I looked up the Evo 3D and those folks have the same issues... I am fumed right now. I wish I could just go back to Froyo...
 
I hope Google addresses this issue. My HTC Droid Incredible (Verizon - original version) synced contacts without difficulty. It was running Froyo. I just upgraded to the Verizon Droid Incredible 2 with Gingerbread, and it no longer syncs contacts to my BMW.
