Going to scream...I hate not knowing how to do something

Kinda random, but you don't go to Rutgers by any change do you? just wondering cause I'm going there next year as a transfer student

Actually
i am considering Rutgers next year as well.

I am a fresh at Penn state right now :)

and i want to go Rutgers(new brunswick)
and im waiting to see if my best friend got accepted :)

I love that college!!!

HONESTLY I THINK YOU SHOULD GO CMD ITS THE EASIEST WAY, 5MIN, AND YOU DONE!! I WILL NEVER FORGET THE 1ST DAY I ROOTED MY PHONE!! awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww:o

of course it is :)
Just ask my ex-boyfriend
what i said when he asked "Why does it seem like your not into it?"

haha

Womp womp for him. LOL! On a side note, I think you should stop trying so hard to root the Hero. I literally did the same exact thing and *voilaaaaa!* it worked. Apparently, it seems that if you stop caring the phone will agree and just let the root happen, lmfao. :D

I love Rutgers too! I picked them over NJIT cause they're a lot more fun than an 80% male strictly engineering school. That's such a coincidence that you might be going there, maybe I'll see you there next Spring lol. I'll PM you my FB. Add me! Anyways, did you get a chance to take a stab at rooting your phone?

okay guys i downloaded pda net
but for some reason i am still not seeing
the option to root my phone

however the phone is now connected to
fresh kitchen after i downloaded
pdanet

but i still don't see the option to root

Um well since you wanted me to cmd prompt

im having a few issues with these steps lol

Step 1: Download the Android SDK from Android SDK | Android Developers The Windows file is called android-sdk_r4-windows.zip. Extract the files to your C: drive so that you now have the folder C:\android-sdk-windows

Step 2: Download the asroot2 exploit file from http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...2&d=1257621154 Extract asroot2.zip to C:\android-sdk-windows\tools folder.

Step 3: Download the Hero recovery image from 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download recovery-RA-heroc-v1.5.2.img. Place this file in C:\android-sdk-windows\tools as well.

step three download that file and place it in the tools folder of the first file that you put in the root of the c:
