Where are the rils and how can I move em from one zip to another before flashing?
I got an itch to try it again....

I get "App not installed" when I try to install the app from Super backup...
And I get an error when I tried to install it from play...
And that was the only app giving me the run around...
Everything else I tried to install gave me no problems...
I'm a lucky guy

When Apps do that Just Unmount SD Card, Install the app again and you can Mount your SD Card back.

There's other apps that work too

For the led notification I recommend incorporate light manager script into it because its the only way I can get it to work on my z970

After having to take almost 3 weeks off from working on CM13 due to multiple family issues, father being ill, work, 2nd job and so forth, I have started tackling it again.

However that time hasn't been a waste, during that time i have been reading up on creating a custom ROM, reading up on all the specs of the Z970, Android, ART, and the list goes on. I believe i have a better grasp of what needs to be done to create this ROM for this phone.

I will say this though, if anyone has started working on a Android 6 ROM, don't take this as a attempt to push you out of this area, in fact I would appreciate help.

So for the time being i have to create a device tree for this phone running Android 6.

Thanks for your patience.

Nice job man. My zmax died. (Fell hard and also was water damaged) but I'm still reading up on all of the posts. If you're going to make a new tree, you should probably Incorporate the new modems. So they don't need to flash the old ones. It's only a suggestion, if you don't want to or would find it too difficult, feel free to decline.
THANK YOU

I was thinking that. I am going to see what other phone are using the same radios and Android 6, maybe just maybe i can get away without having to compile radios for it. If not then I got to get with Masterchief about the radios.

As I said in a previous post i want to make a pure CM13 port, then after that is done I have a a wicked ass idea for a ROM. And that idea may or may not be Android 6 depending on how long i taken with CM13.

And that rom will be about several things, using the Linaro kernal is my main goal as well as optimizing the hell out of the code to get this to boot blazingly fast. Why? For all intents and purposes the storage on this phone is like a SSD. I have seen Windows 10 boot in under 10 seconds on a core i3 2450. And Windows is a much larger OS. So why the can we do that with Android.

False. It's not like an SSD in your computer at all.
By definition of the term, sure, it's solid state
But so is a micro sd card for that matter
I dare you to try booting Windows 10 on a normal Class 10 Micro SD Card in 10 seconds
(Spoiler: It probably won't)
http://www.howtogeek.com/196541/emmc-vs.-ssd-not-all-solid-state-storage-is-equal/ is a great article explaining it.
Also, while I've been super busy as well and haven't been working towards M on ZMAX, you can hmu on hangouts with javelinanddart@gmail.com and I'll try to help you where I can.

I have, it took ****ing forever in a day.

That said i have benched marked this phone and i have gotten a consistent read speed of 79.29 MBPS. That's faster then the average data HD. I don't know what brand of NAND ZTE used for this phone but it isnt shabby.
