Root Going to start cooking CM13 for Z970

That ROM was just a test to see if our ROMs will function on the zmax we have almost the same hardware and also have cm 13 function just waiting for some one to port the rils for us less fortunate devices that don't have caf apparently u guys don't get service

So which rils do we need ported? And does the device tree maybe need mods to include a ril to provide service? Just an idea

Well our devices are not caf that's why no service for m for any zte at that matter android N should be here by summer need mod port rils du team should doing that for us here soon

Actually the zmax and the warp sync are both caf devices. For that matter, the only devices that don't use caf are google nexus devices and devices that don't have qualcomm processors. For those of you who may be wondering, caf is code that is written by the Code Aurora Forum and is required in order to make android work on non nexus devices with Qualcomm processors.

I have, it took ****ing forever in a day.

That said i have benched marked this phone and i have gotten a consistent read speed of 79.29 MBPS. That's faster then the average data HD. I don't know what brand of NAND ZTE used for this phone but it isnt shabby.

It's not NAND #1, #2 Read/Write speeds for HDD start at around 80 and go up to 160 and that's including writing whereas you tested Read-Only....

To everyone who offered assistance. Get ready. I ****think**** I got a stable build compiling right now. It should take 4-5 hours, that is if there are no dependency problems. (Which has been what has taken me so long). I will post it in the morning if all goes well. So pray to whatever God you believe in. If you don't, think good thoughts.

Also, if this goes smoothly and it is a wild success and if I can find the patience, I ****MIGHT**** start tinkering with Android N. Yeah I am aware it is in beta. If not I will make a custom ROM of my own. I am already thinking of a name. Only question I want answered is what ROM do I build off of.

Bliss & DU is bangin' too

Did I miss something. Lol

no

to be honest with you, I would not keep up hopes of a 6.0 rom coming out on this phone

the devs that have put out roms for this phone have went elsewhere. I personally have not messed with any phone in a long while

the guy who made this thread does not even reply to simple questions, in one of his posts he stated he has 6.0 booting, i think that is very unlikely, but I am a pessimist naturally

I am sceptical as well. It just seems like if he had cm13 booting he wouldn't have a problem putting up a pre-alpha test build for people to troubleshoot or posting links to the device tree, kernel source, and vendor files so other people would be able to help on the development end of things. I'm not calling anyone a liar here just voicing my scepticism.
