Help Google Play Services not Working :(

After going to extrenes to try and fix my phone I boot looped it. Thankfully its still underwarrenty and I should be getting a new one soon. Thank you for the help, when the new one arrives im just gonna live with the crashes if any until things are fixed.
 
Since there is no custom recovery for this phone there is no way to revert back to jelly bean :(. I think we are out of luck. I hope our voices will be heard... I doubt it though.
 
Just got an update for Google Drive, and after one crash on first launch, it now appears to be working- version numbers for those who are keeping score-

Google Play Services - 8.1.15 (2250156-034)
Google Drive - 2.3.357.23.33

Trust me guys it will work for a little while then crash... I was so happy when i thought i figured it out.. But an hour later CRASH! blah it's like a joke.
 
These 2 apps are working, even after refreshing and rebooting the phone, but ill keep testing it, gmail, YouTube still crash and music still broken. I should clarify that apps are loading, I have not actually used them extensively so blacbox's point of crash down road is possible.
 
Updating to the latest version of Drive seems to work for me. But for good measure, I'm going to reboot the phone and see if it still works.
 
Looks like Google is going to do this bit by bit. Its encouraging that at least some of the apps are working. I think the last 2 updates to play,services 9/24 and 9/29 fixed part of the problem, now we wait for individual apps to update.
 
UPDATE: It looks like Google Play Services no longer automatically updates itself on my Vibe, either after I reboot the phone or 24 hours have passed. I'm running 7.8.99, which is the last version of Google Play Services that works on this phone.

Anybody else experiencing this? Maybe the Android team have sent the order to Google Play Services to not update itself on the Hydro Vibe until further notice?

The only Google app that does not work under 7.8.99 is Android Pay. All these problems for the Hydro Vibe started when Google released Android Pay and forced most Android phones to update Google Play Services to 8.1.15 to make them work with Android Pay. No known version of Android Pay will work on the Hydro Vibe.

Good info, for now that may be the best option, keep eye out for updates on pay ,music and YouTube and try to update to latest play services then.
 
Downgraded to 7.8.99 working great for about 2 hrs then auto updated to diseased 8.1.15 BOOOOO. HowieWrites are you still running 7.8 or did it eventually update?
