Google Wallet - No Root Needed :)

Dredging up an old thread here with some news:

I am running Jelly Belly JB ROM, Wallet apk sideloaded, installed and loaded with money. Wallet has a v12 update in the Market as of TODAY!

I went to play.google.com on my PC, not my phone. Logged in and hit "Install". Selected "Samsung Galaxy Nexus" and hit okay.

Play pushed the app to my phone and Wallet updated! :D

Maybe it will or won't show up in Play on your Nexus (especially if you're on Verizon), but try this if you want the latest version.

I hate to bug you with this, but I have tried several different Wallet apk's and all with no luck. Will it simply not work on the AOKP ROM, perhaps?

Anyhoo, I was wondering if you could share your link for the apk of Wallet you used, please ... :) I would be exceedingly grateful!

I have a Gnex on Verizon. The original wallet I have was side loaded, can't remember where I got it (probably here!).
Went on to Google Play on my computer and looked up Wallet. It said I had it installed and was compatible with my device. I looked at the version I was running and I had 1.1R57 and Play was showing 1.1R67 V12. It was saying I had it installed on my device already, but I hit the "Installed" button anyway and it updated on my phone instantly.
My guess is that it is Monday and Verizon hasn't gotten around to blocking this yet. In before the LOCK! :smokingsomb:

Would it be horribly wrong for you to post or send the apk file somewhere? :D
