Accessories Got an HTC 1500mah battery today.

I continue to be extremely impressed by the chichitec battery. Stats from today....3% left, 8:23 Up, 5:11 Awake, 3:36 Display all on 3G. I've have only crossed the 5 hr awake time barrier only once with the bidallies 1500 and that was on WiFi and listening to a lot of Pandora which cuts down on the display time. Today was mostly browsing. And yesterday, I was on WiFi, sick and in bed so I was on the browser for just over 5 hours straight, reading, listening to music and keeping up with play by play football scores. No other battery that fits in the stock battery cover can come close. I have no idea how they packed that much more juice into that thing but the proof is in the numbers. Of course, YMMV but after reading all the positive reviews, there's no reason not to drop fifteen frogskins for this thing.
 
I might get this battery soon. The Bidallies doesn't last me that much longer than the stock battery. However, looking closely at the battery on the HTC Express website shows it has a watt/hr rating of 5.55 Doing the math, that only equates to a 1500mah, not 1800mah. Still willing to try it. I like my ebay 3500 with back, but i need a full case on my phone, so i might be selling the 3500.

I've had the 1500 bidallies battery for a few weeks now. I have no "scientific" results but I can say based on performance compared to stock battery, I get a full day and a half out of a charge. Disclaimer: I consider myself a VERY light user. Some Internet browsing. email. messaging. limited picture taking, limited youtube-ing, Some Angry Birds playing. Oh, and phone calls.

The fit is tight and I was concerned about bending the copper contacts when installing.

Also, based on a day and a half charge though, I would rather charge my battery overnight, every night as opposed to charging the battery in the middle of the day every other day.
 
To clear things up for some people that may be interested. The 1800 from chichitec (htcexpress.com) is NOT an OEM battery, although they tried hard to make it look like it. Like most ripoffs, they didn't match the HTC logo, which is actually a lowercase H like this: hTC. It is actually branded with the "htcexpress.com" on the bottom.

Regardless, ordered mine (through Amazon.com) on Friday and got it on the following Monday. Fast!
I can confirm that it fits under the battery cover just fine, although initially my power button was sticking. The batteries came 67% charged.

The charger that comes with it has a USB port at the bottom, meaning you can use it to charge your phone directly as well. I don't remember reading about that. However, when I plugged in a cable to the charger with a battery already charging in it, my screen wouldn't respond to any input.
 
I got my 1800 htcexpress battery today. I had no illusion that this was OEM. I'm charging it right now. They're located close to me so I ordered late Friday and got it today! Whoohoo! I'll report back after a day or two about battery life. :cool:
 
What the heck. I'm having trouble with the phone loading up with the new battery. It's stuck on the Droid Eye. I've done battery pulls a few times. It only started up once before. I'm currently rooted and running Virtuous 3.1 with the newest stock kernel. :(

Edit: I took off the battery cover and physically pressed the battery down where it makes contact with the phone and finally my phone booted up. Man, that sucks. Maybe I'll jam something inside the case to make the fit tighter.
 
Has anyone using the 1800 from chichitek noticed it takes forever to bump charge? I'm going on almost an hour with the phone off and I'm still staring at the orange light. I hate having my phone off for extended periods of time so this is kind of frustrating. Other than that I'm still getting impressive numbers from the battery and so glad I purchased it

Yes, bump charging this thing definitely takes longer than all the other batteries I've tried. I've also noticed it doesn't stay at 100% very long either. My bidallies 1500 would stay at 100% for about 10-15 mins of browsing on 3G while the chichitec stays at 100% for only about 5 mins. But, of course, overall it's still the strongest battery I've used.
 
I gave up on bump charging because for some reason, my phone won't boot up unless I press down on the battery at the contact point. It did take longer than my bidallies 1500, though.

I used my phone today almost exactly the same as yesterday, and I noticed that the 1800 still had about 65% left on my phone today, whereas yesterday with the 1500 bidallies, I had about 40% left. I'm happy with it since I was in a reception-poor area all day the last two days.

The only issue I have is with that phone not booting up. I'm going to try jamming a piece of paper into the top of the battery area so that it presses down and makes better contact. Hopefully that'll fix the problem.

Edit: Yup, that paper solved the problem. The battery is now snug and the phone boots up just fine.

That sucks that you're having problems with the battery fitting properly. I've had no issues, it popped right in just like the bidallies 1500. Maybe contact the seller to get a replacement? This battery is worth every penny and I still hate Seidio for advertising a 1750 mah battery I spent $55 on!

The piece of paper fits just fine and everything is booting up normally now. I'm very happy with this battery! Tomorrow is a chill day for me, so I'll see how long the battery will last with minimal usage. I'm hoping 25+ hours?
 
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that is having problems bumping this battery.

ttran97--as far as you hoping for 25+ you should have no problem getting that. My goal off my first charge was 48 hours and I got there with 7% battery left. Granted, I did use WiFi almost the entire 48hours, still I was very impressed and still am.
 
I can't say it is a problem, but yes, bump charging does take forever on this battery. BUT, a full bump charge also stays on 100% for quite some time...

Anyway, i dont know if it blows away my seidio, but it sure equals it, at a much better price.

So far, today has been a light day. Using the new SetCPU with a screen-off profile, i am at;
14:27:40 - Up Time
0:38:20 - Awake time
78% remaining.

The specific break down:
Cell Standby: 40%
Phone Idle: 40%
voice calls: 9%
Android System 6%
Display: 3%
Dialer 2%

Also, the awake time doesn't include some phone calls i made (i don't know why calls aren't included in the awake time). I suspect i use a bit more power than others, with my phone working harder to get a signal inside my office building...

Again, not bad at ALL for $15...
 
Glad others have had as good of luck as me with the ChiChiTek HTCExpress Battery. Like I said in my posts before, the Bidallies or the ChiChiTek will not disappoint! The Siedo on many occasions has been outed as a overpriced, overrate (in both mah and satisfaction) waist of money when these 2 options are obviously better both in testing and real world experience. Glad we have options! ^_^

2. The back barely fits on over it, this isn't much of a problem if you're using a case.

I'm not sure if it's a true 1800 mah, but it is cheap and better than the 1300 mah stock battery.

So, for those of you using this battery, how much hotter does it run? Is it a couple of degrees hotter, or 'ouch, I burned my fingers' hotter?

Same.. my device heats up playing Angry Birds, but no more so than my Seidio did.

Just to update with some battery stats/info:
Up Time (time unplugged)

Awake Time:
1:53 (Display Time on: 1:14)

Battery Remaining: 45%

I will say now, that the battery impresses me more than the Siedio did. Yes, i am running a screen-off profile, but i did with my seidio as well. I wish i had kept solid logs of my Seidio, but i can safely say this is better. In fact, this is around the same time as my ebay cheapie "2600mAh" battery:

I am sure if i actively used the phone for ~3 more hours, it too would be around 15% remaining. So yeah.. this isn't a bad battery at all!

I've been using the 1800 battery for over a week and I can definitely see an improvement. There was one day that I didn't use my phone much, and I didn't even charge it over night! That would have been unheard of with the stock battery.

yea sadly I got mine through Amazon where I originally found the battery and they charge shipping there, also I only had the option to buy the 2 batteries with the wall charger that charges the batteries fine but I discovered if I plug my phone into it the screen stops responding, not sure if it's damaging but I definitely didn't like it.. if I had gone to their site I would have just got the 1 for $15, oh well I gave it to a friend w/ a Evo4G.

When I was sick and barely using my phone at the end of Day 2 with 10-15% left I plugged it in just cause I knew it wouldn't last far into day 3 but it was good to know that if I really needed to I could make the battery last a few days in standby/very light use! Definitely unheard of from the stock battery! :)
 
I took the plunge on the HTCExpress 1800 today. I had a Bidallies 1500, but it barely lasts longer than the stock battery. Really hoping that this one is better!
