Got temp ban on xda

Well. The title says it all, I got a ban on xda. And I have to say it was my fault. Lately I've become pretty out of control, which is not right anyways. I posted a kernel with a link to github issues. Earlier today I got a PM from a moderator wanting me to post the source. This angered me majorly. I wanted to let the moderator know how angry I got because he just didn't read my op. So I fixed the thread while I was still angry and for the edit reason said "because of stupid mods". I realize this is wrong, and am actually thankful I got banned. I now realize today how bad I got. So I'm perninately back at Android forums, and I want to be a part of the community from this day on, I won't let myself be snark or mean to anyone. And will always be thankful for the moderators who here are awesome :D.
This thanksgiving, I am thankful for you guys. I'm glad to be a part of something better
 
Im a moderator on another site. We let alot of things like that go, and rather send a PM to the person asking if things are "ok", as we understand that people can get upset at things, and trying to decipher ones attitude thru text can be tough at times. There have been times when I have had a long standing member get pissed at me, then after I send the PM asking if somthing is wrong, or if my original message to them was misinterpreted, they apologise, and explain they were grumpy, pissed, sleepy, drunk, etc. A blantant attack, however, can generally get the person a few days off.

Like I've always thought when dealing with people online... Write what you want to say.. Then WAIT.. And read it again and see if it's what you really feel and how would you feel if someone said it to you..

Not much to see here... Haha! Xda is for die hard modders. Out here the majority are total noobs. We ask questions like '' how do i set password'' or '' how do i add widget to home screen '' lol

Got to be honest, I like that more. I started here using backside ROM by jerry :)

Wait, you can add widgets to the homescreen? Do tell. :p
 
I rarely visit xda anymore because of the blatant favoritism shown to some devs, especially concerning gpl violations being ignored just because that particular dev generates a lot of traffic, they have become very monetarily driven. Everyone seems to have a donate button, plus the whole thing with Chad.
