have you tried the gps fix not the app?
1.make a nandroid backup of cm7
2.flash or restore nandroid backup of a sense rom.
3.download msl reader from the market and run the app and get your msl number
4.goto the sense dialer and enter "##GPSCLRX#
5.enter your msl number
6.reboot
7.restore your cm7 nandroid backup
gps should be fixed.

Will this zip fix work on 7.0.0 RC2

if you are talking about the gapps with vvm fix, it will not fix your gps as far as i know. i do believe the one i mentioned above. not sure why you can't get a fix on your phone.

Bols said it would. And yes I was talking about th same one. Which I just downloaded and it did so wifth rom manager. AI cant find it a the sdcard.

yeah you just flash it like normal and you can flash it on top of your existing gapps file if you have it. just wipe cache and dalvik cache.

yes anytime you boot or use data it builds up cache and dalvik cache. to make sure any changes have a clean environment, you need to wipe them. it just takes a second and it does not wipe any data use. you really will not notice any difference except re-boot time as it has to build up dalvik cache again.
