Help Grand Theft Auto don't work.

So today I tried running Grand Theft Auto on my recently acquired ZTE Warp. Strangely, though, after I had downloaded the data and very carefully verified everything was in order to play, my phone crashed.

Over and over.

I cannot play GTA for more than five minutes without the phone freezing entirely, and eventually rebooting itself when left alone for a while. Is this normal? I'm willing to help anybody who wants to, erm, test this app working on this platform. Anyway ZTE has said in some uncertain terms that this behavior is abnormal...

Alot of heavy memory usage games cause crashes and reboots . Due to the poor build of the os.

Well that sucks, it works perfectly on my Ultra.

Lol someone should create a list of what the ZTE Warp doesnt support, probablh 100's of stuff by now aha.

I downloaded a couple other 3D games just to tempt the device into crashing, and it didn't take the bait. I ran a 3D CPU/GPU stress test for half an hour straight, and it didn't crash my phone or even detect a single functional anomaly of either processor. But a half hour into a simple 2D game my phone dies out. Again.

I can't even get into Chinatown in GTA to vent my anger. (don't read into that.)

Well angry birds space crashes for me and frontline commando

Angry birds space works fine for me, of course on first run it force reboots. Then runs fine from there on.

I forgot to ask, but doesn't the Ultra have the 480*320 screen resolution? It doesn't seem conducive for that sort of game, but then again I've never seen that processor coupled with that screen design.

I had the exact same experience with the app! Excuse me while I check through Market...erm, Play... Reviews for these silly apps.

Same thing happened to me, I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game... And it worked fine.. If all else fails get the previous version of the game

I'm lazy regarding finding previous versions, but the game didn't ever crash my phone except for the first time. Which was still one too many times.

There's about one other report of Angry Birds crashing on a Warp, at least as written on the Market (Play). Grand Theft Auto isn't technically supported...oops.

I have already started a list of one...in this forum just look for it. if I remember right I called it games that I have tested......
