Why don't you try torrent protocol ( sorry if i am wrong ) if it is possible as i download ubuntu builds by *official* torrent links !

He is not downloading ubuntu builds.he is downloading something which has to be downloaded via terminal using a repository. That can't be done using torrent.

there is no file with a ini heres the ls -al of my ram disk

Fabulous port of Sense to LG.

Will the rom area of our device allow it???

will we be able to port with sd-ext.

i have used cm7 kernel to make it boot as stock was a useless and even you can port but app2sd is very important to make it boot

cm7 kernel power is limitless

your sense port has made me salivate for it........

a2sd, cm kernel and you are the key to it.

Which Ubuntu are you using?

I have ubuntu 11.10 with full development environment setup. (JDK, Python, ADB etc)
Expanding wubi disk to 30GB. (15-20 minutes work perhaps)
My laptop specs: Core 2 Duo, 2GHz (Enough or should I overclock it? ) & 3GB RAM.

@varun come on FB in 15 minutes or so.

Why wubi.
You'll get the full performance
OF Linux with it's own filesystem. Ext2, 3 or 4.

That's why sd-ext works , they've selected native over yaffs.
