Yes it is, I have just downloaded the latest market..will have a nosey in the Archos forums.Should work but cant guarantee. Need to install the drivers yourself instead of htc sync. I assume its newer than android 2.1?!
Its the same amount of space as if you manually moved it. What would be interesting is to fi9nd out apps you couldn't previously move can now be moved. Maybe worth downloading apps2sd from the market to see how many apps it finds. to be honest, this trick is a bit crap. Rooting is a much better solution.
Note*** This is for the HTC desire. This should work on most android 2.2+ devices (no 2.1 devices can do this)
I did it but after installing few applications I again got this msg, Memory Getting Low on HTC Desire
Couple of things, it doesn't always change the install location but it let's you move apps that you couldn't previously. Download "apps2sd" and see what it will let you move

Best thing is to consider rooting. Have a look in the rooting forum here. there is a sticky thread called "all about rooting"
Hi, i just tried to root my HTC Desire GSM using unrevoked3, but it says
It was connected but not HTC Sync, connected it and it worked fine, thanks for your help.
Can this also been done on a Archos 101 Tab?
Happy New year folks.![]()

With a lot of research, perhaps I am now learning why like many others I am stuck with the command prompt response fpm setInstall blah blah not operable program or batch file.
I simply cannot Sync with HTC. plugged/replugged, selected each of the three options from phone one by one for "Choose a connection type" still I cannot connect and still I get the following command prompt...

HTC Wildfire Android 2.2 sir.No that command is error is nothing to do with HTC sync. You shouldnt need HTC sync running. Or even installed (so long as you have the dirvers).
What android version have you got?
