It's probably your gapps. Try flashing a different version. If I were close to my computer right now, I'd replace those files and see if my market crashes too.
also I got the accelerometer working but I broke Market, it will open, but it won't download any apps
replaced:
system\etc\gps.conf (This does make the GPS work faster)
system\etc\permissions
system\bin
Dont do it until I figure out what's causing Market to fail
EDIT:
I tried to not replace the entire bin folder
Market works now
accelerometer doesnt :/
its somewhere in that folder that messes up market....
Fixed it!!
in "sytem\bin" replace only:
ami304d
vold
wmdsi
wpa_cli
wpa_supplicant
My Wi-Fi is bugging up. At first it worked fine, but every once and a while, it will say it's still connected, but nothing will load. Pretty weird, but it's probably just something bad on my part.
Yeah, that seemed to help. Alright, so Wi-Fi, check. Accelerometer, check. GPS, check. I guess data is next, although I don't know how we'll test it since we both don't have service.
Does this work with the Optimus V's ICS (CM9) ROM? [ROM][ALPHA] quattrimus CM9 (ICS) - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com
It's now alpha 7
maybe it will boot.Just tried it.[ICS for OV] Got stuck on a boot loop.
I still cant get the radio working though, as soon as I do I'll tell you what I replaced and I'll upload on mediafire

Alright, I am back and officially ready to get this started. Let's do this.![]()

Oh hey, sammyz. I forgot to ask. What ROM are you getting the files from to port? Reppard's CM7.1?

wait he made a second version of that ROM because it wouldn't boot for some people, and that included me, this one is supposed to work with all OMs
http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-...-rom-wip-cm7-2-0-rc0-bobz-17.html#post3973440
that's what I'm porting from
Yeah, Mine was one of the ones that wouldn't boot too. I'm using the second one, but I don't think it will matter. (I hope)
Also, I'm thinking maybe the radio drivers are somewhere in the /system/bin folders. I think some of those contain the drivers we're looking for. Now only to find out which ones. o.o
If we use the one that didn't boot for some then I'm sure it will happen if we use all those files to port....it might just be only the boot.img that needs to be changed within that zip, it was probably a bad boot.img and some of our phones would take it and others wouldn't
