Handcent SMS Themed

Just to be clear- uninstall Handcent (and font pack), install your custom apk, then reinstall Handcent?
 
Uninstall Handcent and any font packs, and install the apk I provided (which is Handcent) and then reinstall any font packs you want. Do not reinstall Handcent from the market. This IS a modded version of Handcent, you don't need to install it from the market.

@Caddy - it's pretty simple to just download the newest version, export the apk, re-add the modded files and re-sign it :) seems lengthy, but it's not. It's modding the files in the first place that gets complicated.
 
Font pack wouldn't install for me. But whatever

Hey, if you get that .9 png thing working for the tan bubble let me know and I will add it to this apk for everyone. I would love to get that dang tan bubble silver or white like in chompsms.

Ads were already there. I've always used Handcent, and I'm not trying to take credit for anything. EVERYTHING is customizable anyways, I just wanted to change the icon and text entry colors because you can't customize it by default. I'm not making money off anything. But thanks for your input.
 
In the settings menu. They are there by default in the Handcent app. I didn't put them there. He accused me of making money by putting ads on there and hacking someone's app, when all I did was change the color and icon.

The devs of Handcent added ads a few releases ago. Adrenalinerush had nothing to do with that.
 
Oops my bad. Never went into settings since initial install. Just assumed out was you. Who is the jackass now? (that's a rhetorical question I know its me, but if you feel you have to answer I guess I deserve it.)

The only thing stopping me from installing this is every time there is an update I'll have to reinstall it and lose all of my settings.
 
Imo worth it for the icon in my home screen...... I like the smiley face
