Handcent SMS Themed

Does anyone else experience jumpy scrolling as soon as you open up Handcent? It's not smooth and only happens the first time scrolling through the messages list; after that it is smooth.
 
for those of you using a previous version did you delete or overwrite? I tried overwriting and get an error "application can't install".

Not me; downloaded through dolphin browser and installed without any issues. Thats coming from the previous version.
 
Does anyone know how to create your own custom font packs? I have a bunch of fonts that I've created myself that I use on my computer that I would love to use on my phone. Is there an easy to way package them into an apk file?

I read somewhere that you can make an empty app and put the fonts in "assets/fonts", but I have no way of making an empty app. If someone knows how to do this would it be possible to make an empty app? Then I could open the package file and just add my fonts to that folder?

I have no clue about that. Sorry, I wish I could help. Maybe someone else knows.

And everybody, I know that Handcent has an update to 2.9.37, but all it changes is something for the Motorola Devour, so I'll add an update when it adds new features or fixes something that applies to everyone.
 
How are you guys getting the new updates on to your phone. Are you uninstalling and installing new version or just overwriting. I can't seem to get it to update.

Download Dolphin Browser from the market. Once installed, go to the mediafire link and download HandcentCustom. Choose to save the file, and when it is done downloading, just tap on the finished download and a box should come up saying it will update. (Not sure if this works in stock browser or not, you could try that first).
 
Thanks for this theme, it's very nice. I started using it today after Handcent disappeared from the Market with Evil Eris.

Looking forward to the update.
 
Installed this a couple of days ago and it is awesome. Great work on his because i hated the tan text entry box. I was just wondering if you could update it with the new handcent 3.1, thanks
 
How do I change the handcent sms text box to white instead of that ugly tan color!? I did it before but I had to get my phone wiped and now I cant remember how to change it. I tried to download the custom pack but when I did it said it couldnt be in installed. I changed my settings so it would allow me to download from other users too. Any ideas!? I love using Handcent but I HATEEEEEEE the ugly tan color!!!!!! :(
