handcent update freezzes droid

i updated handncent to version 35. Now when i get a text and the popup displays it freezes for about 25 seconds and in small print is says "cpu is restoring last session". It will eventually go away and my keyboard appears. Any idea why this is doing this or how to go backto a previous version??

I installed yesterday's update and it shows as version 238. Works fine on my Droid.

2.9.35 is the version i have and the lastest showing in the market. Where did u get a .38 version??

I just updated to 2.9.35 just now. Haven't received any texts yet but I'll keep ya posted.

I updated mine to .35 yesterday and have been sending and receiving texts with no problems.

Dunno. How do you verify what's actually installed? If I go to the manage applications tool and look at the Handcent app info, it shows "version 238" (no decimals). I agree that the market shows 2.9.35, but it's not prompting me that an update is available. Yesterday I updated, but didn't take note at teh time what ver was coming in.

ive been getting this too. they need another update, or go back to the previous version. when i open a txt from the upper bar, not thru handcent, it doesnt open half the time

Still working fine for me. You guys with problems sure it's not a conflict with another app? What all are you running?
