Lurker
For anyone needing to perform a hard reset of their new EVO Shift 4G
1. Turn the power off. If your HTC EVO Shift 4G is frozen, pull the
battery out and reinsert it
2. Hold the Volume Down button
3. Press and release the Power button
4. You are now presented with a menu.
5. Select Factory Reset by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Press and release the Power button

Should be but either will work. You might see if a moderator will move this over to the evo shift forum

*does a double take*

What? Have I been using the wrong Device section this whole time?!??!?!? rofl

Who knows lol
At the moment, unrevoked is testing out the Shift right now. I am tempted to buy the shift just to have it because it's an EVO rofl. Each time HTC releases a device, unrevoked goes at it. lol

This is what I have to do to the phone almost every other day when that loading screen start coming up. It's gotten to point where if I go into the menu and go to personalize, the loading screen comes up and it kicks me back out to the home screen. Not enjoying this phone at all at the moment.

How long have you had your phone?

If it's within 30 days, get it replaced. If longer, call *2 then select option at top to contact Sprint.

Lemons happen, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

Do you have to be rooted for this to work? I can't seem to get it working.
Edit: never mind i got it to work, you have to take the battery out first.
