I ordered a Nexus 7 about two hours ago and my credit card was just charged. The receipt from Google said my credit card would not be charged until it shipped so I guess it shipped.
Are you sure that's not a pending charge?

I ordered the 16 GB model. Check out the web. Staples says they will ship this week and there are rumors of possibility of shortfalls maybe 8 or maybe 16. Who knows what is happening, but whatever it is, it looks like sometime this week. Just wait and see -- time flies when you are having fun.

Has anyone asked mother Google about the dissapering charges?
Some credit companies will release pending charges after they have been pending for a few days, but their shouldn't be an authorization issue when google ships, as the payment has been authorized already.
