Hawaii Challenged to Produce Statehood Certificate

I'm not entirely sure what the point of posting a satirical story is.....especially when it's not clear that you understand it is satire.

You are right...there probably are some "birthers" who would not recognize Andy's work as satire.
 
Non sense,yea but it does seem realistic( Palin comment), as something foolish she'd say & think given her general lack knowledge,he he.
 
As the devil's advovate, I ask you: If Obama's birth certificate truly does show him to be a natural born American citizen, why not simply produce it and bury all this drama for good?

Personally I don't really care. Either way he's a crappy president.
 
At this point does it really matter if he is a natural born citizen now? even if it is proven he isn't. The damage is already done by him and the democrats.
 
Jeez, I dunno, this one had me in stitches. I've talked to people who still believe that Obama was born in Kenya and this is the best fun made of them I've seen yet. I could even hear Sarah's voice saying that while Tina Fey stands at a loss to top that one.

When you look at the so-called leadership of the birther movement, you have to wonder why anyone takes any of them seriously.
 
I didn't know before today that that was a real movement - and honestly, I don't want to know more. :(

I remember when we weren't this dumb. Not nostalgia - truth. I think.
 
Funny... I remember a time when the losers in a political matchup just sort of faded away, or made their own attempts to stay relevant.

Now, the media themselves keep them around...

It's been verified several times. Even O'Reilly has given in and said it's a foolish argument.

However, whenever this (I'm not going to keep digging, there's MUCH more!) is presented, the birthers quiet down for a short time, then come back with even more insane theories. "OMG, everyone who witnessed/signed the certificate of live birth is lying!" "Pelosi took Air Force 1 back in time and made those local newspaper announcements in 1961!"
 
The funny-yet-sad thing is that a lot of the birthers would very happily accept Governor Arnie as president.

(And I admit, ignoring the source, I thought it was for real at first too... only because I've actually seen people try to use that argument. :()

Slightly off topic but Im from Kailua referenced in the OP. Im also born in the same hospital and graduated the same high school as Obama :cool: even though I didnt vote for him :p
