HBO-Go

Looks promising... not yet working on Xoom but the site loads fine the videos are not yet activated.

You need a HBO subscription with your cable provider. (satellite?)

Possible May rollout probably beating Netflix.

This will be big for me, hoping it works as planned

Got it working but the video quality is poor, let's hope for improvement.

I was able to watch "Game of Thrones" last night on my Xoom using stock browser and noticed that the graininess/pixelation seemed directly related to my WiFi signal. As the Wifi signal changed, the picture also changed. There were times when I could watch the show in full screen and it was crystal clear. Then a few minutes later, the resolution shifted down. There is an app in the works and hopefully, it will resolve any resolution issues.

How did you get it working? So far I've had no luck.

I used stock browser.... googled HBO GO to visit the site.... registered at the site, the process cycled me through my cable provider (cox Communication) log-in and then back to HBO-GO. It looks like you need a pre-existing account with HBO .

If you get the site to load then tap on the center of the screen to initiate the videos... hint, the play icons are hard to access and only flash on the screen momentarily.

Probably not optimized for tablets yet as various sources are projecting a May
release.

Supposedly this won't work for Comcast/Xfinity customers which sucks

they want to you to visit the xfinity site, what we need is a better xfinity app, i actually haven't tried using xfinity through the browser on the xoom yet to view video. still even if that works a dedicated app with the same features and access to video as the web page would be killer, kinda like other companies have. way to be behind the curve again comcast.

It doesn't work on the site. HBO-go on the XOOM for Comcast customers is a complete no-go at this point. Way to go , Comcast. Just 1 more reason for me to despise them ..

Just a heads up for DISH Network subscribers if you're already paying for either HBO or CineMAX: I've been testing out HBO and MAX Go on DISHonline.com for my job at DISH and it works like a charm!

I don't understand, this app is available for all phones and Ipad but not xoom? Why is stuff so hard to configure for this system?

Probably uses the NDK instead of java, so they have to compile/optimize/test a different version for the tegra2.
