HDMI out app almost up and running!

Yes! Damn, I received my DX at just the right time. Literally the day I have my DX in-hand, Froyo is leaked to everyone. Now we're going to have universal HDMI-out? Perfect. :)

I need to hurry up with my homescreen editing. :p

EDIT: Also, LOL @ "Yep, I am the Man."
 
please post when the app is finished completely so i can download it ASAP..


nice work btw.. the only thing i suggest is try to find a way where you can flip it to landscape on the tv so you dont have to turn you head sideways to see whats playing on the tv ;)

Really the only thing that will be sideways is the homescreen.. other than that most apps can change orientation.
 
I'll get this as soon as it's out. When I bought the DX the sales guy gave me a bunch of freebies including a free hdmi cable. Now I have a use for it lol
 
i bought my hdmi cable for $4 on the day the X came out. about two days after, the seller upped the price to $9.99 XD

a lot of people didnt understand the hdmi output on the x. since i had my phone, i use it quite often. atleast once on the weekend so that my girlfriend and i can watch whatever videos i took. i appreciate the hdmi out and gman for taking advantage of it. big ups!
 
Over clock, full hdmi out, and wifi tether.... the only three things i wanted for a perfect phone. And angry birds. This is a great phone. Thanks to all the developers.
 
Any ETA on when this app will be released? Will it require root? How well does it work (in terms of the screen and the refresh rate [so that there is no glitching/lag from the phone to the hdtv])???

regardless, amazing app and i can't wait to load hd movies and play from droid x!
 
Woot! Subscribed. This app is also combining with other factors to push me in the direction of the Droid X ....
