Root Help erased all data on rooted evo!!!!

Download this rom to your computer.

After you download that rom, plug your device into your computer.

What we are going to do is transfer that rom onto the sd card whilst in recovery.

The other way would be to pull the sd card out of the device and using a card reader in the computer, put the rom on it.
But I find the recovery way easier

ok sorry for coming in late, but just an fyi we have an unrooting guide that is stickied here on this forum.....here it is:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/655895-complete-unrooting-guide-evo-4g.html

so now that you have a working phone(assuming that you flashed a rom already), you can use that guide to unroot, if you go that route. you might want to leave it rooted and sell it for a higher price. just make sure that whoever you sell it to knows that it is rooted. and if they have no clue about rooting to please refer them to AF here in this forum, if they have any questions.
