Root help!! Evo stuck on the startup screen

I rooted my evo not to long ago with unrevoked and the rooting was successfull, but what i didnt do was do a nand backup right before i tried to flash a rom. In the middle of the installation my phone shut off. I booted it back up and now it dosent get pass the startup screen with the htc evo 4g logo. I have tried going into the recovery mode and doing it that way and followed some of the other forums that related to same issue. I also tried putting the pc36ing.zip file in the root of the sd card and that still didnt work. Is there any other way or am i not just doing it right. My wife also has an evo and its stock. Is there a way that i can use her phone in any way to restore my phone? Or any suggestions at all? Thanks.

Can you still get to hboot and to recovery? If you can get to recovery, you can try and reflash the rom. Not sure if this is the issue, but make sure you battery always has at least a 50% charge before flashing and nandroid is your friend :)

xtreme is right on the mark.... pull the battery, put it back in (as thats usually helpful LoL) hold down the vol dn button, and hit the power bttn. restore, and let us know what happens :)

Why do you need a 50% charge prior to flashing? Just to ensure you don't spend so much time in recovery that your phone dies while flashing something? Just curious.

from what ive seen its a precautionary measure. ive gone into recovery with as little as 20% batt, but flashing is kinda taxing on the battery, and being stuck in the middle of the process with a flat battery would define "suck"

Your phone will not charge while in recovery, so if something happens you just need to make sure you have adequate battery life. There may be something else to it as far as available power at lower battery life. I am not sure as to that though.

Sorry Im kinda a noob at this...Yes. I can get into recovery holding down the volume down and the power button. I've tried reflashing but it doesent do anything. It wil reboot then stay stuck the white evo 4g screen again. Im probably missing something. It might be too much but can I possibly get a step by step instuction to how to fix this.

Can you get to recovery? Holding volume down and power gets you too hboot. If you can get to recover, which one and version do you have?

This is the information I when holding down the buttons:

Supersonic EVT2-3 SHIP S-OFF
HBOOT-2.10.0001
MICROP-041f
TOUCH PANEL-ATMELC03_16ac
