No. Keep es! They serve two different purposes. You will never see aroma when you are booted up. Aroma is just a temporary thing that boots and is gone after exiting.
Yep, keep the zip on your SD card. It only used through recovery. You flash, just like a rom, and it gives you a temporary file manager through recovery. Once you exit, it's gone.
