Root [Help] Flash verizon mod on optimus m

Hey guys. I'm trying to get my optimus m to work with Verizon service. I already rooted the phone and flashed custom recovery, but I'm having trouble finding a guide that explains how to flash the rom it so it comes up with Verizon rather than metro. I'm pretty new to all this, but i learn rather quickly, and i would appreciate any help.

From what i read.. verizon doesnt allow outside phones to connect with their service

Exactly, you could make that phone just like a optimus V but your esn will not be in verizon system
 
i know the topic is old but.. if i somehow got my optimus m on Verizon how would i go about getting the Internet to work? is it tied to the system somehow? or maybe i can download the browser from an official rom and it would work.
 
If you somehow got your optimus m working on verizon it would mean you wrote a verizon esn to it.

For one that is illegal. for two if you can figure out how to write a new esn, you can figure out how to program data....

This whole thread should probably be deleted since having a metro phone on verizons network is a no no.

Is ESN changing really against the law? I think obtaining the verizon ESN would be the only thing thats illegal. It's my phone I think If I change my ESN to some random number that couldn't possibly violate a law... Am I correct here?

thing is there are no random ESN #'s. Best thing to do it restore you OM to stock and sell/trade it for a verizon phone.
