Root Help, i cant get gingerbread to install

I can download the file and then when it installs it, it will go for a couple seconds and then stop and reboot and say install failed. I was rooted. I unrooted with visionary. then I followed Rooters guide to remove clockwork mod recovery. My phone does not seem to be rooted and when I restart it doesn't boot into clockwork anymore. Not sure what I should do from here. Should I just install the SPF file or what? If so where can I get the file. Also been awhile since I installed a spf file, can I get some instructions too. Thanks in advance

Ok, I installed a spf. On my phone. Now when I go to check for updates. It says there is no update for my phone and that it is up to date.. did I do something wrong? Now what should I do?
 
sorry i know I am being a pain. I can't remember how to install the update.zip file on my phone? Also do I need to install both files Mirror 1 and mirror 2? If I wanted to just wait for the OTA when would it show up? I haven't seen it yet?
 
Get Update.zip on Wupload.com that's file if you want absolute stock no root.

Those are if you want root.


The first one will be flashed in stock recovery. Download it and put it on your SD card. power down the phone and then press home + power to get to the menu. Then press the search button. Then update.zip

The second rooted version needs to be flashed in clockwork recovery
 
if you flashed back to stock .340 and you want GB, but dont want root, just accept the OTA, go to settings, about phone, system update or something like that, try it over wifi so you know you can download it pretty fast, it takes a while to download on 3g
 
I have been trying that many times. It says my phone is up to date and no update necessary. I didn't flash back to.340 I went to .320 will that matter?

I wish rooler would take the .320 SBF off his site. No need for it anymore.
