Root Help please

There are so many threads to go through it would take me forever to figure this out!

so i rooted my LG Esteem but when i want to in tall CWR it gives me this msg

THIS SCRIPT IS FOR THE LG ESTEEM and REVOLUTION
MODELS MS910 and VS910 ONLY
SCRIPT WILL NOW ABORT



i tried reinstalling the drivers but it does not work =( can someone please help me!?!?!

P.S.

my fone is running on the MS910 ZVD Version
 
CWM has to be installed through ROM Manager from market. ZVD doesn't have an all in one Root method that installs it when you root.

The zvc root that's posted in the guide isn't an aio that installs cwm. At least it hasn't been the 7 or 8 times I've used it.

If there's one someone else then that's a different story.

LG-Esteem-Revo_AIO.zip is the one I used

Yeah that's not the one posted here. Just confirmed it with gbig.

If that is a legit aio it should be posted over here.

Well yeah that's would work-root for c is the same for d-misunderstood you fuzzy:(
Easiest/safest way to recovery is ROM manager by far if one is nOObish:D
 
Maybe I shouldbchange the title of it in the sticky-kinda gets lost just listed under recovery ya know

i just wanted to know about the original root for C/D if it installs cwm.

That's what i was asking. I know C works for D.

Cause he said his did, but we find out its different. Case closed. Lol

I'm running into the same problem here...
Phone is on ZVD, Debugging mode enabled, Internet Connection Mode Selected...

Did someone make a change on line 661 of the AIO script? It seems to be the culprit, as it's not returning a value at all for the phone model, which is it's aborting the install.
Somewhere before the piping ( | ), something is causing it to SHTF
 
If all your trying to do is install recovery-use ROM Manager from the GPlay store:thumbup::)
