Root help plz :'(

I rooted my phone then installed a bloat freezer. Here are a few apps i froze sms, file, app market. I then forgot to defrost these programs. I unrooted my phone then factory reset my phone. Now i do not have sms, file, or app market. Did i brick my phone. Plz some help or give me an answer. Any input at all will ve appreciated.

Why would you want to freeze App Market?

Did you make a backup right after rooting? Did you install Bootstrapper or Titanium Backup and make any backups?

You can always put this zip file on your sd card (rename to update.zip) and boot into recovery (Hold Home button down and press the Power button), when the Triangle with the exclamation point comes up, press the Search button to get into stock recovery. Choose install update zip (navigate in Recovery by pessing volume up and down keys to move cursor, press Camera button in all the way to make selection).

maderstcok - OTA 2.3.340 update.zip

This will install a stock operating system on your phone and get you all your missing apps back.

No backups :( no clue how to. I froze app market cause there were two listed in the process so i froze one. App market worked fine up until the factory reset and unroot. Like i cant even install app instaler to reinstal z4. And since i was using astro i froze the files app. How am i supposed to iinstal a. Apk without being able to view tge files. I feel like i bricked my phone

whatever "bloat freezer" you used will have a backup on the sd card. but how you get back that application after freezing the market? i would look for the market gingerbread APK that was out. or whatever that was called i cant remember. install that then download your "bloat freezer" app and reroot
never mind: post 4 looks like a good idea

There's always a way out. I'll move you to the droid x root area! :)

You may have to SBF... you'll be fine. Don't worry.

Xlideriders post above is a sbf in a update.zip format. With that file there is no need to rsdlite and use a comp. *Just make sure to read the full set of directions.*

P3 tweeted the other day that he hasn't sbf'd in a long time, he just uses the update.zip.

It would be helpful if a lot of people saved that file and had it on their sd card.

Helpful if you can boot your phone. If you can't you gotta sbf.
