Root Help Rooting LG Stylo 2

I don't have this device. Has anyone tried this ?

The first thing that is needed is a recovery.
"Trying" stuff without one will make you a bricklayer. The Rooting part comes 2nd. If you wanna gamble with your phone at least learn information that can help you and others. Not trying to tell anyone what to do with their stuff . There is a method and a process to this . BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.

i have the same software version ls775zv4 - it is in boost mobile, though. Sprint is a bit finniky for rooting. Did yours work?.
 
Mine only worked till reboot but i cant ever download the su binary but i think it because i cant unlock my bootloader
 
We need to find phones with similar specs, also see if they are rootable, try their methods of rooting to tinker with, and then see about rom development. Someone needs to man the gun on building a recovery.img, preferably someone with experience or is wanting to learn how to and is dedicated without giving up on the first 10 tries. Twrp has done fairly well on porting and building (so ive been told) my favorite recovery has been philz touch recovery. Im not bossing people around or anything. Im just straightening up the lines on getting our phone to the point where we want it. Some may just want root and recovery. Some may want roms. Im willing to help find root but we do need a recovery like it has been stated by people in previous posts. I have access to a pc to try those methods of root but ive never built recoveries nor built roms because i lack knowledge and the pc power to produce those things. With all said, lets start a team amd get things going.
 
Does this dev you know, know how to build recoveries? Or port recoveries? If the dev can then we can flash superuser.zip for root
 
I will ask if some one can donate a phone to him he will most likely jump aboard can't promise but I will ask him also super r might help out to need to ask him
 
My biggest problem is i dont have. A computer im always a trail and error type person got hundred phones here that ive practiced and learned on messed up and some that are great but this lg stylo 2 k540 from cricket wireless is beating me up
 
All I know if u follow one of those to links u get full root and stay rooted on reboot as long as u don't take the update to v4
