Install "Shortcut Master (lite)", search for hiddenmenu. There are other interesting things like for NFC which my VM-branded phone supposedly hasn't got.

Without root I can't actually open any of that but someone with a copy of the firmware might be able to dissect it.

Allegedly you can root with kingroot but you will have to enable oem unlock in developer settings and oem unlock via fastboot.

That's really vague. Grabbing a copy of the kdz is nice and all, but it isn't going to unlock anything.

here maybe i can help u all Ive been racking my brain it looks like theirs a carrier app that unlocks it try t mobile unlock app now i was able to get one but every app is different for every phone and your unlock code may not work u may have to buy a few .........ehhhh here are some tips to leave type 5689#*775# like my ls775*model number# its the 775 so that's clear its not 2945....
i also seen there may be a way to root it with out hardware but software lg up and flashing involve but if any of this helps this thread keep going !!!! im happy but ive rooted every thing but this so please i have my codes just fine the right app or put in your 2 cents about it

When i baught this phone

I have update it

I didn't know if i update i cant root

The software version was zv3

I update it to v20c

For future don't do the updates hard to find phones now days to get root Motorola and the Google phones I believe can get root and some Samsung s good luck

Now i have android 6.0

Still cant get root acess

If u were still on zv3 u could get root one u go to zv4 and up no root possible at this time

This phone has anti rool back software on it so if u try to flash it u will brick ur phone it has been tried by me which I got lucky and didn't brick it came up with errors one person did brick it though
