Root help with kernels please.

I'm just wondering if anyone could be of assistance as to point me in the right direction for flashing a kernel, I'm currently ruinning miui and rooted with revolutionary, if anyone could tell me what kernal I should flash I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you :)
 
Go to the root info sticky and find the ROM kernel link. Scroll down to the second post and find the aosp kernels. I would recommend that you try tiamat anchor kernel to start out.

Yup, you do them the same way. Make sure you wipe your cache and dalvik cache before flashing. Your phone will boot a little more slowly after flashing but that should go away after one or two reboots.

Also make sure you download the kernel that is compatible with your ROM. Sense ROM->Sense Kernel AOSP ROM->AOSP Kernel ;)
 
alright cool i downloaded the one you told me nolimit, and so now do i just copy to sd card and then wipe dalvik cache and cache before i flash it?
 
also i would recommend that you install amon ra 2.3 instead of cwm. it is much better at wiping and also you might have issues on flashing the zips for the above mentioned performance scripts with cwm.
