Help Help with Titanium Back-up and Market - Solved!

Found this from a forum:

Just had the same problem. Quick fix: go to settings/application/manage application/ go to market app then uninstall updates. Afterwards, reboot. This should help

Does that work?

This doesn't work, in the market application there is no settings saying uninstall updates "only force stop" and "clear data" . I have tried all that before.

Base-band version : i9100 XXKE7
Kernel - XXKG6
Build number xwkf3

The firmware I used was CSC_I9100XEUKD1 after that the kernel XXKG6

Any other suggestions?!

I will hard reset tomorrow if we cannot solve that. BTW big thanks to everyone that tried to help/!

There is your problem right there. You can't mix kernels and firmwares. You should be matching a kernel as close as possible with firmware.

I know it is not an option for you but you will need to wipe your phone and reflash the firmware and kernel. It seems pretty messed up at this point.

I don't know of any other options. Why not just reinstall everything again? Work yes, but at least your phone will be working.

Finally a SUCCESS!
Unbelievable, I was flashing with the wrong firmware (i basically downloaded the wrong firmware 1-2 weeks ago), anyway I got the right firmware from the xda forums to match my kernel and settings.

Don't be so harsh on yourself - we've all done something similar at one time or another, and the naming convention isn't exactly intuitive, especially with 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 firmwares floating around with similar names. The important thing is that you're up and running.
