Can you tell me what widget that clock with the date and weather is?

But what's the skin called, I can't find it

Ahh...Google "spirelli beautiful Widgets" and it should be the top link...I asked him if he could create a skin to match liberty and he did....on the first page of the thread there is a link to download his whole set of skins...its in there

Does anyone else get a force close when trying to access Statuses or Recent folders? I can add them but the second I click on them I get a force stop message.

I thought this week... perhaps next? I'm looking forward to it, even though I'm on golauncher.

+1 Here. I only use the friends widget, but I got PLUS 100% to support the developer. Its cheap. Im eagerly waiting for the full rewrite, I have high hopes for it. LPP is already my #1.

I use the friends widget as well. I've found that every time the widget updates, my Droid X freezes for 10-15 seconds. Anyone else see this? I posted on the Launcher Pro forums but I haven't gotten any sort of response. I love the new transitions but I can't continue to use the widget with this significant hit every 15 minutes.

I am using LPP and I get freezes and force closes all day. I am about feed up with it. Anyone have any advice or things for me to try and make it run as I like it and love the widgets just cant take the constant freezing.

what apps/task killers/widgets/rom/OC frequencies are you running?

edit: also if you updated from a previous version of LPP try uninstalling then reinstalling

I love transitions, but needed to put a lot of stuff on the homescreens and LPP only has 7. Now that Launcher x pro's widget scrolls, I no longer need all those screens. I'm loving this setup.

Go Launcher is more stable, but has no transitions. I'd use that one if it had them, but they don't. Also LPP's widgets are superior, second only to sense ui's, imo.

I feel really stupid asking this, but I installed LauncherPro to see how it works and looks. And, um...is my screen supposed to clear out of all of my shortcuts and widgets? Am I supposed to basically rebuild my homescreens the way I'd like them again? I was kind of surprised to see just my wallpaper and a new dock and...nothing else.

Yes that is expected. Your homescreen settings do not transfer from launcher to launcher. Each one comes set to it's own default settings

With Launcher Pro, you are basically installing a launcher on top of the stock launcher so it won't import all the widgets, etc. Just add them as you see fit.

Ok. I just wanted to make sure I didn't somehow do something wrong.

Though if all it does is install over the original, should I clear my old screens? Is it going to save me any battery or lag time if I don't have essentially two layers of screens, even if one isn't being used?

Yes, once you go with LauncherPro you should install home switcher (free from the market) and go back to your original launcher and delete the widgets and icons from all the screens.

Makes sense, but....if I'm rooted, does it matter if I use the Home Switcher for Froyo, or just the regular Home Switcher?

home switcher is buggy on froyo, from personal experience. switch to the froyo if you are on froyo.

Interesting, I installed Home Switcher and cleared all the stock launcher screens. Now seems to be smoother and snappier. Maybe psychological.

Steven, you should check out Folder Organizer. Sys and Barcode on this screen are FO apps:

When the white folder icon (5th one) is clicked, any apps that don't show appear. This one is sorted by use, most frequently used first. It's also been styled with a custom color:

My Barcode icon will open a similar window.
