Hi there. I just ordered a couple of LG Optimus V phones through Amazon. These will be our first "smart phones", so I'm guessing that I'll be spending ALOT of time here.

How bout dem Giants, huh?:)

Thanks, melim..... I've become a woman obsessed.... just checking out free apps at Amazon. I'm going to go into sensory overload when I get these! (Live in extremely rural Mississippi with only a dial up connection.... cell phone signals are hit and miss, but for the price Virgin is offering, I'd rather hit and miss with the Optimus than via AT&T) I'm too excited.

Thanks, but I have no idea what "root and try a new ROM" means! YET!!!!!!!!! I think that I need to step away from the computer for awhile.... my head be full! ;)

agreed, and agreed. as weird(?) as it is, this is tied for the best overall forum i've known - but if i had to pick, it'd be this one. as far as the phone goes i feel really *really* lucky that this was my first smartphone. with as many phones as there are out there, this one's kind of a "sleeper."

as far as sports goes... i just remembered i have an unused putt-putt golf ticket... i wonder if it's still any good.

freakily enough, the sig is related to the "other favorite" forum i mentioned... it's a crochet/knitting noun/verb referring to major screwups and their method of repair ("rip it ~= ribbit")

they don't have sig lines over there... and i HAD to use it somewhere, sooooooo....

edit: that's right, I Crochet ! (recently finished pillowcase)

Yup you've come to a really good forum, nanzo! Like melim said, there's a lot of great people here (unfortunately I'm not actually one of 'em either). But if you have questions with your Optimus V there's a bunch of good fellows here who are willing to help. :)
