I've slowed down my flashing and went back to a froyo rom. Once they get the netflix fix integrated with the GB/Sense 3.0 roms (kings is what I'm looking at), then I will go ahead and start using them.

Thanks to the OP for this find. Useful info

Hopefully there is something to this. I'm going to see what kind of feedback there is on XDA and here before I give it a shot. Would the really high usage show as a wake lock in spare parts? I never see significant wakelocks from android system in spare parts, but I have definitely seen my battery info show that Android System is the biggest user.

I hope this might solve some of your problems out there but:

I have installed the root OTA along with the root OTA radios zip. I then backed up, wiped 3x, then installed Mik 1.4 and Android System doesn't even show up in my battery usage list. The phone drops about 1% per hour while idle with wifi on and connected.

Interesting.. I may have to try this.. tho I don't see any awake issues on my phone or my wife's so I have stayed away from flashing radios. But I have been considering updating them, but wasn't sure what combo to go with

My phone shows android os at 2% and at the bottom of the list. It doesn't even show up on my wife's phone.

Both on mikg .. she's on 1.03 and I'm on 1.04.

Both have 11.19 radio and 1.90 price

Both are also 004 hardware versions

I gave this a shot as my Android OS was at about 25%.....needless to say it got way worse! Went to a 2 hour movie with my son.....phone was on in my pocket and never went off but dropped 35% in a matter of 2 hours idle. Flashing back to the new radios as soon as my battery hits 50% again.

I will however give it a shot on my wife's phone as her Android OS is always 60-70% and her battery life sucks.

yeah i don't think that i need this fix. i have been checking my android system usage and it has been at less then 4% or so.si it looks like i will just have wait to get a custom kernel on my kingdom rom.
