Daggone Kings, need to be jokers!!!
Toronto fans will tell you that's cheap enoughThe cheapest tickets I can find so far is $180 for one ticket!!!!!!
WOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
guess what i got for xmas?
I GOT TICKETS TO THE WINTER CLASSIC AT DODGER STADIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO KINGS GO!!!!!!!
What's the temperature going to be like there? The last time I was in LA in December, it was like 25C (77F).
There is going to be one up here in Vancouver in B.C. Place Stadium. Odds are, the roof will be closed as it rains often here in the winter.
what i did not like though is how the NHL came up with the prices for the game.....if you have not seen them, they are ridiculous. they started at $150 for the cheap seats!!!!!!
the way the stadium is arrange in conjunction with where they have the ice setup, i can't tell if i will be able to see the game very well. at least i will have the the huge 1080 jumbotron above the outfield walls to watch the game if need be......hopefully i'm not sitting where the duck's fans will be otherwise we might have some issues
well i think hockey is the only name in town for canada so i can understand the higher prices......but for us here in LA we have the lakers, dodgers, USC, and UCLA to compete with so the price of a hockey ticket here is very low. the nose bleed sections are like $35-$40!!!!!!!! they have increased the price by 10%, but no one here is complaining........LOLThat's not much higher than the price of regular tickets here in Vancouver. The cheapest ones are over $100 CDN for individual tickets and they go up to over $300.
I just checked the ticket prices for the Heritage Classic. They range from $94 to $314. The cheapest seats are really low in the lower bowl. The next cheapest seats are the really high up. Looks like the prices are similar to a regular season game.
Personally, I don't see the appeal of watching a hockey game in such a large, indoor stadium. All of the seats in the stadium are going to be worse than what you will get in the regular arena. The roof might be closed. You might get a similar atmosphere to a football game due to the larger crowd. I guess if they are making a lot of money, they'll keep doing it. The stadium holds 59,000 people whereas the arena only holds 18,000.

so yes paying almost $200 for crappy seats and bad viewing angles is asking a lot for LA fans.......but i did not buy them
an indoor stadium hockey game? i do not see the point in that!!!! now, an outdoor game, that is something that i can't wait to see.
