Root Homeless Kernel 1.0

How did you set Fast Reboot to run automatically when you turn on the screen?
I may figure it out on my own, but atm I'm scratching my head on that one...
Open up the app and go into settings. Then just check the box that says auto-reboot on unlock. It works great for me.

I had no idea there was a paid version until just now. Maybe I got mine before there was one? idk... looks like I need to update. lol

Man I really broke the barrier.
1d 1hr one stock 1500mAh battery with normal use.

I just got my extended battery 3600mAh, Charging it up for the next set of results, even though technically i don't need this battery anymore hahaha... makes my phone look like a 90's cell phone. there's gotta be more stylish backplates. This one is pretty hollow and thick.

I'm not running anything but GingerSteem1.0, the kernel and the Optimizer. I think adblock lowers battery cause some apps keep retrying to download ads so I removed it and thats about it, and In phandroid settings disabled background downloads for news etc.... So it's idle as it can be when not in use.

One thing about batteries, the higher the current draw the more exponentially the battery usage rises, it's not linear like you'd think. So the less power usage the more exponentially longer battery life gets. That's why overclocking kills it so fast the more you push it, thats next for the kernel though :) just gotta figure out how.

When I flashed Homeless over Gingersteem Extreme (both times) the hands free device for car bluetooth gets knocked out. Will not let me pair. Anyone else have this problem?

There was a known issue at least for me, same thing happened when i used extreme or extreme kernel. it's why i moved to gingersteem as a base.

It's the settings or music apk. I'd try replacing them with the ones from the other rom, maybe that will help.

1 day and 1 hr 1500mAh stock battery??? which ROM you have installed ...

ps: I have installed the stock rom ... and battery drain at 14 hrs

I have the optimizer runnig with Chuck Norris I gues I have to give gingeresteem a try maybe the extreme sucks more battery I will try the regular baterry i guess lol

I think it's the OC kernel, even at 1Ghz. I mean technically they should both consume the same amount of juice at the same speed, but I can't say anything for sure except that my optimizer app didn't seem to save as much power on that one as it did on the stock. That's why I built a new kernel (besides the fact that I always wanted to make one :) )

then on which rom install you kernel??? on the stock rom? or which rom recommend flashed my phone???

I have installed the stock rom ... I want to install your app optimizer and install your kernel??? enough???

thanks

Flash Gingersteem 1.0
Flash Homeless Kernel
Install the optimizer if it's not already, set the battery to chuck norris.

If you have google maps, disable latitude or at least the updates.
Try it without battery saver apps etc first, so you know if they help or hurt later on. Personally i don't like things that disable my data and all kinds of stuff, to me they're just apps wasting resources but that's my opinion.
