Hi, I'm really new to tech and I really don't understand 99% of what everyone is talking about here. Is there somewhere I can learn about tech online? I'd really like to understand how my N7 works and be able to identify and repair problems if they happen. Thanks :)

I would start here with the Nexus 7 forum (2012) for the original Nexus 7 or go here for the Nexus 7 (2013) Feel free to ask any question you have. We have some very smart people over in those forums who will be more than willing to help.

Which Nexus 7 version do you have (2012 or 2013)?

I have the 2012 N7. I bought it right after Christmas. Even after reading some posts I'm still lost. I don't know what abbreviations mean, and even if I did, I wouldn't know what they did or could do.

Ask even the most simple of questions. You will not be chided for doing so here at AF. In the unlikely event that you are, let me know. ;)

Hello I'm am completely new to smart phone technology and am pretty sure I'm in the wrong place but here goes....I would like to know if someone can tell me how to set my phone clock time backwards? Let me explain...I found a cheat that allows to continue playing games on my phone by setting my phone's clock forward however it is now so far forward(on the games) that it will take more than a year for it to catch up. Is there a way to set it back. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

I moved this thread from Android Lounge to the forum dedicated to discussing this tablet. There you will meet a lot of other users who can share ideas and solutions with you.

The good news is that unlike some other devices, the N7 is highly repairable, the battery could also be replaced by yourself. I've been able to replace the broken speakers in less than 30 minutes.
