How can I get more icons on homescreen?

Is there any way of having more then 4x4 icons on the on-screen?

There are a couple apps you can use.

There's an app called Multicon:

There's another called Launch-X (this one only displays I think up to 5 for the free version and 7 for the paid version. The rest of the apps you put on the bar can be accessed through a tab on the widget)
Launch-X (FREE) - Android app on AppBrain

Then there's Smart Shortcuts (much better than regular FOLDER option). You can classify each app by designating it under a specific "category" or even multiple categories:

If you're into home Replacement apps, you can try LauncherPro. You can add more lines for Apps in more Rows and Collums. Not to mention LauncherPro can add so many more features to the home screen. Of course, like all Home Replacements, you can't use stock HTC widgets. But the Developer has designed his own Widgets to replace the stock HTC ones.

No problem. I also agree with getting Launcher Pro as the stock launcher, rather than using Sense UI. Only thing is, when you up the icons to 5 on one row, it gets distorted when you go to landscape mode on the phone, so keep that in mind.
