Root How do I back up my Angry Birds files? Details inside.

In anticipation of Velocity 0.4, I just ordered an 8gb class 6 micro SD card. So when that gets here and Velocity 0.4 is released, I'm going to wipe everything out and start fresh again. Is there any way to save my progress in angry birds? That's the ONLY thing I care about restoring. Everything else I can just start out fresh and I'll be fine with that.

If it matters, I'm running V .3 right now with A2SD on a 256MB ext partition with the stock ally micro SD card.
 
If you wanna save your Angry Birds progress its saved here

/data/data/com.rovio.angrybirds/files/highscores.lua

Copy it then paste it to your SD and move it back when you need to.

Correct you are. I would still go with Titanium though. It will re-install the app and the data of everything you back up. Makes things just a little more simple. Unless you like digging through files like most of us tech freaks do. ;)
 
hello, i use a samsung galaxy s, and if i connect my phone to the computer, and looking in the data the file is empty, but i have all my scores in still in the game, where the hell does it saving the samegame of angry birds then,

i cant find it either on my SD card or my phone self, but i am playing already for 2 months and i really wanna back up now :D

can some one help me with this,

add: root explorer or titanium cant find this save game to

add2: if i looking in data file theres only 1 data map not like this:
/data/data/com.rovio.angrybirds/files/highscores.lua, it more like this:
/data/empty :D on phone or sd card now what

dont know, i just got this phone 3 days, its the new Htc desire z,
and i dont want any trouble with rooting things that can mess up your phone,

i have done all angry birds lvls 3 star including the 20 golden eggs,
i have done angry birds seasons ( hogs and kisses 3 star including the egg )
trick and treat and chrismass i am doning now, but almost done, and i really like to have a back up now i have compleeted the whole game,

any one an solution for this,

If you don't want to root look in the market for a Angry Birds backup app, they usually cost money though.
 
There is an app called Angry Cheaters which is free and while it allows you to edit your scores to unlock levels and cheat, a very helpful side benefit is that it will let you backup and restore your scores as well. That's all I use it for.
