Root how do I root htc desire 510?!

ok ive been watching this post an i cant understand i thing you guys are saying is there a root method for the the 510 or not? i dont care how i just wanna get rid of this stupid blotware

Yes there is root, and no you can't remove bloatware without write protection turned off (ie. S-off). which this phone doesn't have yet. You can't remove bloatware if the phone is only rooted, you need combination of root and s-off to do that. Follow the link, it has instructions for root.

you CAN remove bloatware without S-off but, you DO need write protection removed. However write protection doesn't have anything to do with Hboot or the Bootloader it is in the Kernel. One of which i will be releasing shortly for Cricket users that has write protection removed. If you are on Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile with TWRP installed and have a backup of the stock boot.img feel free to test the kernel and see if it will boot.....

EDIT: Short explanation, S-Off allows for permanent root in addition to access to locked partitions like the modem and a few other areas most people don't need access too. it is not necessary to S-Off your device to root or install custom roms. Most people do S-off so they can flash different modems for different rom versions. It also allows you to flash recovery and kernel images inside of recovery from a zip.

Honestly this device is surprisingly slim compared to a lot of other devices, Of course my device is from cricket. If your on Boost Mobile Or Virgin Mobile odds are you have a ton of bloatware. But, In all the cricket variant is pretty slim and has all the normal Sense components.....

If u have a cricket desire 510 it will work… we have the 64 bit cpu although android is solely a 32 bit of at this point

I have the Virgin Mobile 510 and it's rooted with this method.

Not unless you unlock the SIM card (micro SIM card) from your current network.
