How many apps are too many and how much save should I have on my phone memory an sd card? How. Do I know to delete apps

More than you will use are too many.

The X has 8gig internal memory, a small amount is used for your operating system and the rest is for really nothing more than apps. So really the only down fall to having too many apps is it can slow down the app drawer loading up all the ones you have (instead of coming right up it may take a second or two).

I have over 110 and have no problems with my X and more memory than I will ever need still left.

Serious note, now that you can move apps to SD and well you can get a 32gb mSD card. You shouldn't have memory issues. I do know that you need say 1gb of mSD (micro SD, its probably not an official designation but I don't really care they should have called it something else to begin with) to record a movie of any length (10 minutes) and have some decent pics.

Phone memory, I haven't even gotten close to tapping that out.

I have close to 240 apps on my DX, and still have plenty of space left for more, so as far as in concerned, there is no such thing as "too many" apps. Just keep installing them until you are out of memory or some rogue app causes phone problems. Otherwise, you paid for that memory and data, use it!

Not that it helps now, but Titanium Backup Donate version could have batch moved them for you.

Do you have the X? The X has 8 gig of internal memory, do you have one app that has huge files with it that are taking up all your space? I have over 150 apps and I still have 6 gig of internal memory left.

I was about to ask, what the hell are you using? Biggest app I have is NOOK at 16mb.

Wonder why Google apps can't move to SD card (maps, search, etc)

i have 11.98 in the sd card .....and 5.66 in the internal phone memory....is this enough? should i delete some apps.

I've installed ~ 50 apps/widgets (not including those installed by Verizon), and it's barely made a dent:

SD card: 14.63gb available out of 14.83gb
Internal storage: 6.15gb avail out of 8gb (and I assume the OS takes up most of that used space)

If you decide to upgrade the 16gb card, be careful if upgrading to a 32gb external micro sd card. I got a killer deal off ebay and it didn't work. Search these forums for more info.
