After you get that done, download ROM Manager from the Play Store, and flash ClockworkMod touch. The install is located at the bottom of the ROM Manager app. You have to have that most recent version of CWM touch installed in order for the CyanogenMOD 10 ROM to install correctly.
After that, go to the Download ROM section of ROM Manager, and scroll the the Cyanogen section and install the CyanogenMOD 10 stable version thru there.
BillCosby said:Hey man thanks for helping me out! I asked on other sites but was just told to read and do it on my own. Will installing CM10 wipe everything?
BillCosby said:Yeah it seems that way! Can I just use Kies to back up my stuff? I tried going into recovery mode like you said but there is no option to create a backup. Man I always just ignore the app updates. Last time I tried to update 60+ apps it took so long and sometimes disconnected.
So if I follow your instructions I can do it straight from the phone? From what I read you usually have to connect to a computer.
