Root How to install CyanogenMod 7.2 - Huawei Fusion 2

Keep getting boot.img status 7 error when flashing cm7? I tried redownloading cm7 twice.

Also noticed there are two boot.img in zip

Its not a issue its just that I wanted to keep stock boot IMG I believe that I threw in a line saying thats normal

Yup I recommend a jelly bean theme we are mdpi maybe lol I don't know the equivalent but we 165 LCD density I'm using "jelly bean theme for cm7" by driffex

Ok - so - I just now got cyanogenmod on my phone. Works awesome up until now.

I went and changed the lock screen to "swipe" and "blade" in the cyanogenmod settings. My phone immediately shut off.

I rebooted it, the logo appeared as normal, then a short buzz, blank screen, then logo, then freeze.
Now the same thing happens every time on reboot. Logo > buzz > blank screen > logo > freeze

Suggestions?

This happened to me too. Its a known glitch.

You have to boot into recovery and wipe the Dalvik cache, and the cache partition.

I don't remember if you have to wipe the user data as well, but try just wiping the caches and reboot, if it stays at the logo, then you have to factory reset too.

Tried wiping Dalvik cache and cache partition first, didn't work - had to wipe user data and factory reset :(
Oh well. Errors happen.

Regardless. I'm crazy happy to have cyanogenmod! :)

Me too, everything runs so much smoother.

I cant imagine going back to stock.

The only thing that could make it better now, is the ability to overclock it(and have wifi still work)

:D

Say, I've been using Holo Launcher under stock, but for those who have CM7.2 already, do you know if it works much smoother? I messed with the caches and whatnot but couldn't smooth it out very much. Also, does CM7.2 allow you to use the ICS versions of certain widgets (such as calendar)? I much prefer the modern calendar widget under ICS to the crappy blue one from Android 2.x :P

In short yes everything is smoother in cm7.2.

I agree with shagerty. It does run smoothly. Even with transition effects on(I keep them off though).

What about the custom lockscreen glitch involving the volume buttons waking up the phone? (I used to use Holo Locker but quit because I would keep hitting the volume rocker and taking it out of silent mode...does that still happen?)

I only use the Launcher.

My lock screen is Widget Locker.

I just noticed - now apparently I can't send MMS messages...
I can recieve them, but can't send them.
Switched back to the stock image and didn't have the issue.

Suggestions? It wouldn't have anything to do with the APN settings would it?

Because its a German ROM go into messaging and settings and under MMS turn on roaming and delivery and read report if you want
