Root How to install CyanogenMod 7.2 - Huawei Fusion 2

I just left it on the charger, while off, for a good while. It didn't freeze, or do anything out of the ordinary.

It might be for there is no charging screen in cm7 and there is in stock and it's in that built in non editable part of the phone possibly even in the hardware idrk I'm not a engineer lol

Thanks for your input, information that is all helpful. I just fail to see where belittling someone has anything to do with solving problems. your sarcasm diminishes your intelligence.

If I've come off as belittling, I truly apologize. If you're thinking Cam was, you're mistaken, he has been one of the most helpful people on this forum( though not the only one) and is the main reason you have CM7.2 on your phone. He ported it.

Cam I am truly sorry for my comment. I realize that I read into your post something that just wasn't there. Perhaps you can accept my sincere apology. If not, then I would understand.
ZeRose, Thank you for all your help with my phone. I am aware that if not for Cam, cm7 would still be a dream. Also thank you for your clarity with my stupidity. Please accept my apology as well, as I have also offended you.
Shag, my apology to you for offending you as well.
Again, I am sorry and truly regret my previous post. I just read more into it than was there.
I admire all your efforts and appreciate your accomplishments with cm7.

With a heartfelt apology like that, of course I forgive you. Sometimes it's hard to tell what someone means by just reading it.

We're all just trying to help each other here.

:D

You guys are great!!!!!!
All new to this,
Got 7.2 to run (after I remembered some High School German :>)
Questions:
I can send and get calls, but cannot see my contacts on the sim card.
General question- anyone have issues with the headphone jack not working, the display show the headphone as plugged in but no sound, only some static.
Again, thank you for making this fun, frustrating but FUN!

I am curious if I should try this to get native SIP menu settings on my rooted U8665. What I need in the Android menu is in the following quote:
""Go to settings on your phone, then go to phone settings and scroll all the way down until you see the native SIP calling. It will say, "Accounts" and "Internet Calling". Go to Accounts. Now add an account and enter in Username, Password, Server. Server will be pbxes.org. Go to options and make sure transport type is set to TCP, not udp. ""

Can anyone with CM7 look for me and see if there is any thing in the menu options saying something like "Internet calling" in there anywhere?

Also, After I do this, Can I go back to what I have now, if so how? The only thing I have done so far (gulp) is the shagerty root (thanks)

Forgive me for being an old fuddieduddie........lol you youngsters have probably never even heard that word.......opps......generation gap.......opps, CENTURY gap......sorry

Haha, fuddieduddie is an awesome word, and should make a comeback!

This is in the CM7.2 settings in the Call Settings Menu, all the way at the bottom.

Once you install CWM6, you will be able to make a backup of your system, and can return to that whenever you like. The instructions to install CWM6 are HERE. and the instructions for making a backup are HERE.

Both of these guides are written by shagerty, so you should find them clear and concise.

I will try to get the SIP actually working, and get back to you. That way you can know it works before you switch, if that is the only feature you would like. CM 7.2 holds many more benefits, if you do decide to switch.

**Update**

1. First, set up the phone with my Sipgate credentials.

2. Removed the SIM Card.

3. Used my Google Voice to call my Sipgate #.

Results?

**Total Success**

As for outbound calling?

**New Update**
**That works too**

I would very much like to say thank you captain77450!

I have had my Sipgate account for years, just sitting there. I'm new to Android, and this is a really great feature.

I have been using Groove IP paired with Google Voice for my free calling needs up until now, and thanks to you, I have one more option.

Again, Thanks!

If you have any questions, or need help with anything, feel free to PM me. I will do my best to assist you.

:D

Also, for anyone interested, we have a fully working ICS ROM.

If you'd like to know more visit forums.fusion2.org

The only downside is, by flashing The ROM you'll lose 3G data speeds forever.

*** We do have a CyanogenMod 10, with Jellybean now working as well.***

Same loss of 3G Data speeds with it too. Follow the link above for more information.
