Root How to properly back up via Amon RA 2.3

I'm about to do my first back up via Amon RA 2.3, which options are the most important to check to back up. I know I need boot, system, data, wimax. Do I need to also check recovery and .android_secure? Thanks in advanced

i do the first three and i always keep one with wimax. but the other time i just back up the first three.

I know this thread is kinda old but I was just wondering what happens if I check everything but the ext and the android secure one? is that ok?

You need SD-ext if your SD card is partitioned. Other that that, all you need are the first 3 and possibly your wimax keys. Anything else is just taking up unnecessary space and making backups/restores take longer.

sure, it is ok. will take up more room though.

also, if your sd card is partitioned, and you have apps running from there, you actually NEED to check sd ext, and if you have been using apps that move parts of apps to your sd card, you need to check the android secure one, if you want to save all of that stuff too.
