How to use LauncherPro

This may be a dumb question, but how do you pay for Launcherpro plus? I like the program and would like to use it in its full version, i went to their site, checked the settings, market and nothing. I see where you can enter the code to unlock it and request your unlock code after having bought it, but cant for the life of me figure out how to buy it.
 
Nevermind, I tried to move a widget and the re-size box opened, after i backed out of it it popped up and said you had to upgrade to use this feature then gave a link to do it. Funny though, i had to find it by accident.

Then yes, you need alternative messaging apps that have non-sense widgets. I suggest Handcent for SMS/MMs, and K-9 for Email. Handcent rocks and is better than the default SMS a IMO, and K-9 is decent but not as good as the HTC email app.

My icons keep disappearing in the Dock.
I am able to replace icons on the dock, and set an app to have a new icon. But whenever I turn the screen off and turn it back on, the default launcher pro icons are back...

Anyone know why?
 
How do I add apps to the homescreens...I long press the screen and it gives me options to add a widget, launcher pro widget, shortcuts, folders, or wall papers. Thanks.

Shortcut - An icon that opens an app. (you can also add these by opening the app drawer and then long pressing the app you want).
Widget - An icon/graphic that directly interacts on the desktop in some way (and may also be a shortcut)
 
So I'm trying to download this app and when I open it up there is a blank status bar on top and a cancel download option on the bottom (didn't even give me an option to download like all other apps do). I also downloaded Home Switcher and that didn't help. When I click cancel download is prompts me to force close and when I go back into the market place and open it up again the same status bar comes up and cancel download option is at the bottom. Please help!

Restart your phone and then try downloading again. If it gets hung up in the middle of downloading, do not hit cancel, instead just restart. It may be getting hung up during the installation process.

Back when I first had my EVO in June and had 2.1 I had PROBLEMS with Handcent and switched to ChompSMS which I think is great...just an alternative. I don't know if they fixed the Handcent problems but just an alternative...
 
I switched all my LP dock icons, but for some odd reason when I put the homescreen in landscape my new icons go back to the default ones. I then reapply them, the same things happens again. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem. Actually go back and replace them with what you currently have. Example : If you have the messaging application with a custom icon, hold and click on it, change shortcut, applications, messages, custom icon (in your case), and choose the icon you want. This should take care of your problem.

With the paid version you get htc style widgets and the ability to resize widgets on your homescreen. Plus the ability to pay tribute to a dev who has enlightened us with a great app. :)

Should work just like any other widget -- long press an empty space and choose Widgets. I'm using LauncherPro, and my music player is Music Mod (from the Marketplace), which comes with a nice set of widgets.
 
Fyi, for those using alternate widgets, I found out this morning that the toggle widgets I downloaded for launcher pro, run constantly in the background, even when not activated, so it was draining my battery. I'll have to find different ones, but wanted to share that info, in case people were noticing a drop in battery life.
 
Whats is the best way to upgrade? Ive already DL the free version but would like to go pro and donate to the developer for the great work!

also is there any plans in the future for a LP way to change our lock screen? I really dislike the stock slide down bar

Get Widget Locker from the Marketplace -- insane amount of control over your lock screen, including custom sliders. My lock screen for example:
