Ok, then try doing a battery pull and taking out the SD card...then put the card back in and the battery and booting up.
Screw it! I'm flashing as I type this. 1.5 is way too slow for me. I was happy with v2 so I know that I'll be satisfied with v3.
NOOOOOOO root root root! they'll have a rom based on this in a matter of days anyway!

Just did that but still nothing. For some reason its not finding it on my sd card.
I fear it's too late. Oh well. I'm sure they will gain root with the final ota anyway. I'm sure I'll have a chance to root eventually. Hopefully

I'm assuming that the bootloader in this is S-ON, just like the other "leak" ROMs.
Mebbe you should put a note in your first post that this is for 2.1 leakers only - if it is possible to use it to burn a rooted 2.1 phone, the S-ON bootloader (and thus root as we currently get it) will be lost. Hopefully that's obvious to everybody who has root by now, but it might save one or two folks some grief.

Just finished copying all of my music and pics that I want to save to my desktop. Rebooted the phone and am going through the update screens right now. I figure I've put v1 and v2 on the phone, may as well dive head first into the deep end yet again.

Can't believe my battery survived downloading that file, moving the zip from the downloads section to the root of the SD card and the install of the leak.
Just so I can verify the images in e-mail work, is there a type of e-mail w/ images that you normally couldn't see with the first or second leak?

Seriously! The only people who should be using this leak are the people who are already "stuck" on leak 1 or 2. Anyone with 1.5 ought to be doing root instead even if their goal is just to have 2.1.
i recently just got my HTc Droid Eris. and for the last couple days been visting this forum just to learn about the phone. While Version 1 and 2 came out before i had the phone, version 3 came out today. My question is, can and will Verizon do anything to the phone since its not running the offical firmware?

If you downloaded the file directly to the phone make sure you have moved it from the download folder to the root of the SD card before rebooting. The file must be in the root of the SD card

All my duaghters FB farmville crap is forwarded to me, I can say that the pics embedded in gmail seem to work! 50% thing is back for me though but can't say I was ever bothered by that bug. Now to see if the camera shuts down properly or continues to drain the batter

I dont know what else to tell ya. Sorry! That's what I did for mine.
I'm not trying to belittle you when I say this, did you follow the exact steps in the 2.1 Tutorial thread? I never installed a leak on this phone before (bro did 2.1v2), and I followed every step to the T and had no problem (I copied leak from pc directly to eris).
