Root HTC Evo 4g Flashed, No Activation Metro HELP?

So i let a friend of mine let HIS friend flash my htc evo 4g.
His friend said its flashed but, i am not able to activate it?

-when phoned turned on, it says Metro pcs Wireless for All (does NOT say " hello hello hello " its just a screen that says it)
- i have "MEID" numbers
-android version 2.3.3
-kernel version 2.6.35.10 freedom-v.09+
-software number 4.54.651.1
-it is rooted i believe (i see the superuser app)

I tried to call the *228 number, but it doesnt load the metro pcs guidelines,
it says "to make a collect call to a blah blah blah blah)

So what's going on? is it flashed wrong?
how would i be able to fix this?

Your best bet is going to be take it to metro and let them set up your phone to work on their network. There is a metro thread around here in this Forum. However I'm not sure the thread will do you much good.

i need to be on a sense rom to do what?
have my phone activated by the *228 number?

I am afraid I'm not able to answer your questions. I have a Sprint account and never have tried to change my service. I am not sure what they would have to do but I would guess that yes they will probably have to reflash the phone. As far as a fee again I'm not sure.
